Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines – JUSTE (Journal of Science and Technology)

Authors are required to submit their manuscripts through the online system after registering as an author at the following website: https://jurnal.lldikti12.id/index.php/juste/

Each submission must strictly adhere to the formatting and content guidelines provided in the JUSTE (Journal of Science and Technology) Style Guide. (The journal template is available for download on the journal website.)

Submission Instructions for Authors

  • Submitted manuscripts must be original scientific works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by any other journal or publication platform.

  • Manuscripts may include results from empirical research (field or literature-based), conceptual analyses, theoretical applications, or critical studies in disciplines such as pure sciences, applied sciences, technological innovation, engineering, environmental science, or interdisciplinary areas that align with the scope of the journal.

  • All manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word on A4-sized paper (210 mm x 297 mm), with a white background.

  • The manuscript must be written in English using Times New Roman font, size 11 pt, single-spaced, in one column format.

  • The manuscript should begin with an abstract of 150–200 words, also in English.

  • Abstracts must be formatted in italic, font size 10 pt, and include the background of the study, objectives, theoretical framework and methodology, key findings or novelty, and main conclusions.

  • Author names must be listed without academic titles. For manuscripts written by multiple authors, correspondence will be handled solely with the designated corresponding author.

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be organized into five key sections as follows:

  1. Introduction – outlines the research problem, background, literature review, objectives, and significance of the study.

  2. Research Method – details the methodology, including materials, equipment, and analytical procedures used.

  3. Results and Discussion – presents research findings and analysis; sub-sections may be used for clarity.

  4. Conclusion – summarizes key outcomes; conclusions may be listed with numbered points if necessary.

  5. References – citations should follow the IEEE style and be numbered accordingly.

  • The manuscript should be 8–18 pages in length. JUSTE covers up to 18 pages; any additional pages will incur extra publication fees.

  • All references should be primary sources, such as scientific journal articles or research reports, preferably published within the last 10 years.

  • Citation formatting must follow the IEEE enclosed reference style.

  • Manuscripts must comply fully with the style and formatting guidelines of JUSTE (Journal of Science and Technology).

  • The content must be free from plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification, and must not be under review elsewhere.

Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero with the journal’s citation style template to maintain accurate referencing.

To assist with preparation, a downloadable article template in English is available on the journal's website.
